Tuesday 29nd June. Ireland continues to lag far behind other European countries for many aspects of neurological care. The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) is asking for your support for its campaign for a National Programme for Neurological Care by the HSE which will prioritise planning and investment in services for people with neurological conditions, which affect over 700,000 people in this country. Thursday 4th March 2010 . ABI Ireland Staff first in Ireland to complete ACBIS Brain Injury Training
A group of Acquired Brain Injury Ireland (ABI Ireland) employees are the first ever in Ireland to complete specialised training in brain injury rehabilitation. This is the first time that the training, which is accredited by US based Academy of Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS), has been held outside the United States of America. Read more

Wednesday, 18th November 2009. RTE Afternoon Show, ABI Ireland reminds people about the importance of wearing their helmets when cycling.
Barbara O’Connell Chief Executive of ABI Ireland and Sam Fleming who suffered an Acquired Brain Injury after falling off his bicycle, were interviewed today on the Afternoon Show on RTE. They are reminding people of the importance of wearing their helmets.

Sam is living in an ABI Ireland Assisted Living Residence in Clare. Currently two houses are being built to accommodate the clients of both our residences in Ennis.
